The Lion’s Club Maastricht Mondial, is a very special Lion’s Club devoted to the interests of expatriates in the “Euregio” and at the same time raising funds for, and working on, charitable projects in the region. The Club was founded in 1994 and now has members of 11 nationalities. LCMM has held its annual May Fair every year since 1998. This is an event where we invite expatriate business people and professionals together with their families to meet, mingle and enjoy an afternoon together learning more about life in Limburg in an interesting environment. Average attendance at these events has been some 250 expatriates from all over the region.

The 2010 International May Fair will take place on Sunday, May 30, at Fort Sint Pieter in Maastricht.

Background Information

The club’s main fundraiser each year is its May Fair, an annual event where the club invites other expatriates and their families to meet, mingle and enjoy a free afternoon of entertainment, information and hospitality at a location in the Euregio. The club enjoys sponsorship by a number of local communities, organizations and companies, which makes this event possible. Fundraising activities at the May Fair are in support of the various club projects.
